Grave digger turned cannibal, a tale of living deliciously.
lyrics
Under fresh earth my lust does lie
Free from mortal toil, a vixen beneath the soil
The smell of arousal where the spirits do cry
I feast where the maggots lie, released from mortal toil
Dig the earth, tolling their domain
Part their skull, gorging on their brain
Food for thought, blood from a stone
The undoing of flesh which has been sewn
Dragging their limbs, out from their holes
Where you disgust, I break their families trust
Parting the dirt to further my goals
Out with their entrails, I pull and thrust
Dig the earth, tolling their domain
Part their skull, gorging on their brain
Food for thought, blood from a stone
The undoing of flesh which has been sewn
Breaking their ribs and sawing their thighs
Plunging my hand in their chest
Powerless, staring into the cracked eyes
I rip out the heart and feast on their flesh
Lifting the limbs to my lips I take my first bite
Gorging on the virgin flesh so sweet
I take a sharp breath of sheer delight
Under the ground for a day, a month or a week
Nobody is safe, old or young
From death’s rotten green tongue
run while you can and make your amends
I’ll catch you in the end

Pretty much the best Black/Speed Metal I've listened to since I learned about Evil Invaders and Vulture. Everything you'd love to be reminded of about this musical era is there. The influences are what you'd expect too: Motörhead, Venom, Bathory, early Slayer, Celtic Frost; aggressive vocals, tortured guitar solos, pounding drums; everything is fast, clear and still a little grimy, but without reverb cranked up to the max. Amazing band, amazing album. Odiumediae
